1.1 M&A
Most M&As concentrate on the “business value” of the company to be purchased and the synergies and growth the joined companies may achieve. As the M&A process is mostly executed by business people and solicitors/consultants the state of the technology and the technology organisation of the company to be purchased is often ignored. Many times the technology evaluation is assigned to the parent company technology leaders; almost definitely as an additional task to their day to day workload. Other times, a big consulting firm is hired and they produce a report following a script used every time they undertake such a contract. This method guarantees to cover what the script says but is unlikely to uncover issues that are not within the script narrative.
We propose an alternative. A dedicated person with long experience in technology (including M&A) who will not follow a specific script but rather focus on the essence of how a technology organisation is operating, the state of the tech stack, the way the organisation is managed, their financial accountability and their maturity; in terms of people, processes and vision.
In this way you will not have any bad surprises after the completion of the M&A process.

More specifically, it is not uncommon for an executive team or a board to want a 3rd party opinion regarding the state of the technology of the company. With our long expertise in technology we can evaluate the organisation, the processes, the state of the infrastructure, the people skills and the plans for the future and give you an unbiased view about a technology organisation as a whole or a large project as a focus point.
2. Creation of Dedicated Engineering Teams
2.1 We set up a dedicated development team in our own development centre.
We build your team based on your requirements, using our internal development resources and recruitment capabilities. We strive to keep our best people in-house, so you may find some developer resources available right from the start. If required, our HR team will help to meet your special needs by custom recruitment locally, nationally, and regionally (Eastern Europe).
2.2 We integrate the team with your site.
A Delivery Manager (DM) responsible for team integration with your site is allocated to your account. He or she will work closely with you for the first months of cooperation to work out an efficient remote cooperation model and help to set up all the agile processes necessary for a geographically distributed team. The DM will be responsible for business process integration, technology alignment, team-building activities and setting up and overseeing effective communication. We use technology (such as Google Enterprise for team collaboration) to eliminate barriers between your in-house and outsourcing teams like distance and time difference. This is achieved by agile and scrum methodologies as well frequent hangouts and video calling. We don’t include culture and language as barriers because we are proud of our English speaking and EU born and educated engineers.
2.3 We take care of administration.
We take care of all administration pertaining to your team at our development center. We provide technical infrastructure, encourage continued education and stimulate professional growth of your team.
2.4 You retain full control over product development.
The engagement model enables you to manage your team as you do your in-house team, while we give you the necessary tools and provide our continued assistance. Also, you can involve us at any stage of our cooperation so that we help facilitate communication and relationships with your team.
